Belmont Public Schools Facilities Audit

ARCADD, Inc. was retained by the Belmont Public Schools to conduct a Full Scope Audit and Summary Space Analysis of the Belmont High School and the Wellington Elementary School, a Full Scope Audit of the School Administration Building and a Summary Envelope and Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Audit of the Burbank, Butler and Winn Brook Elementary Schools.

The Full Scope involved a non-invasive visual review of the buildings and their sites. The Space Allocation Review required the A/E team to review of the space planning of certain spaces within the Belmont High School, the Wellington Elementary School and the School Administration Building.

ARCADD provided the Belmont Public Schools with a comprehensive assessment of current building conditions and a capital reserve/life cycle analysis for each major building component system. ARCADD will also assist the Town of Belmont in obtaining state capital improvement and repair funding.

ARCADD prepared the Belmont Public Schools with a comprehensive presentation including all current building statistics, a 10-year cost schedule for each building, a cost phasing schedule, detailing the urgent, critical, necessary and recommended changes, as well as recommendations for each problem area ARCADD found within the study.
